Amari Latimer is a 2026 recruit who plays Running Back at Sandy Creek High School. Latimer is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Latimer is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Georgia. He holds offers from schools such as Georgia, UCF and Indiana.

Who are some role models in your life?

The role models in my life are my father and my brother.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

My go to’s pregame are J Cole, Lil Wayne and Baby Drill.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strengths are my vision, toughness, elusiveness and most of all my IQ.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was the first time taking the field as a starter in the backfield with my big brother, Geimere “Gee” Latimer. As well as scoring 7 touchdowns in a youth game.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is my brother. The best player I’ve played against is Adonijah Green from Cedar Grove.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Outwork everyone and stay ready for your number to be called.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

My dream place to visit is Africa. I really want to witness the culture first hand.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with football at the age of 4. Watching my brother play, I wanted to do the same thing.

Ray Lewis

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan, was watching my brother lead his team to a come from behind win against Cedar Grove his 11th grade year.
