DJ Rumph is a 2027 recruit who plays Defensive End at Milton High School. Rumph is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Ends in the class as well. In addition, Rumph is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Defensive Ends in the state of Georgia.
Who are some role models in your life?
My mom and dad, both military veterans are the strongest people I know.

Lecrae, Gospel rap, KB and NF
What are the strengths of your game?
My skill techniques, speed and mindset
What is your favorite memory of your career?
When I was named Gatorade Player of The Year at Top Gun. It was after I won 12 MVPs in 1 year. I felt like it was something too hard to achieve, as I was going through one of the hardest times of my life. Feeling like I wasn’t enough. God said otherwise
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
My little brother De Amari Rumph. He’s next up. I pray he’s better than me.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Go after a reason.. every rep until a whistle blows
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
The Philippines and Hawaii. As well as Nigeria where my grandparents are from.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
6 years old
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I did… he passed away. My Dad. He played football and died on the football field during a game after a bad tackle that caused a fatal concussion. I miss him. I play for him every game. I’m here to finish his dream and make a difference. I love the game and I want it more than anyone I know, but I don’t like what it did to my family. It killed my dad so it’s time to kill the game. I’m going to finish this for him. There’s no stopping me.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl.
