Jackson Taylor is a 2026 recruit who plays Quarterback at Thousand Oaks High School. Taylor is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the class as well. In addition, Taylor is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of California and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of California. He holds offers from schools such as Georgia, Texas A&M and Oregon.

Who are some role models in your life?

My biggest role model through all aspects of my life is definitely my dad. My grandparents have also been a huge part in making me who I am and who I will continue to strive to be.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Pregame I honestly love all kinds of music, but I’m definitely becoming a big country guy as of recently. Morgan Wallen and Jordan Davis are a couple of those names.

What are the strengths of your game?

I would consider my throwing mechanics and decision making as my strong points.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is definitely my first ever touchdown; pretty cliché I’m sure, but I wouldn’t say anything else. It was a nice 30 yard run in my first ever tackle game in 7th grade.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

The best advice there is I think is just to have faith and trust God’s plan. It’s easy to get impatient and I’ve definitely been guilty of it, but everyone’s ultimately got a different story.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere, I’d go and travel through Israel.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with football when I was around 6, but I really started making it my passion and a priority around 12. I also played basketball so there was a transition from it into football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one athlete I’d want to meet Tim Tebow. He was and is an awesome leader and changed the game from the quarterback position at Florida and in the NFL.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My personal favorite was the Music City Miracle the Titans had in the 2000 playoffs. I’m a big time Titans fan, and that’s definitely one of their most iconic moments.
