Crosby’s Star Sophomore Linebacker: Copelin Windfont

Copelin Windfont is a 2025 recruit who plays Linebacker at Crosby High School. Windfont is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Windfont is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Texas. He currently holds offers from UTSA, North Texas and Arkansas State.

Who are some role models in your life?

The biggest role models in my life are my parents. The way they face adversity and overcome many things is what inspires me to never quit on anything I do. What u start you always finish no matter what

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was my first start as a freshman. I had 14 tackles in the 4th round of the playoffs against the #1 team in the state.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Always stay humble and work. Put your trust in the lord, because he knows your plan and will lead you on the right path. 

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Bora Bora, the Virgin Islands, or Jamaica

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

When I was 4 years old playing flag football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Lawrence Taylor or Luke Kuechly

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was when the Astros won the World Series, because I’m from H-Town.
