Shadow Creek’s Next Star Receiver: Aden Starling

Aden Starling is a 2027 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Shadow Creek High School. Starling is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Starling is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Texas. He currently holds offers from Hawaii and Jacksonville State.

Who are some role models in your life?

A role model in my life is my dad because he taught me how to make sacrifices in order to be great.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to YoungBoy and Yeat because of the high energy in their music.

What are the strengths of your game?

Some of my strengths are my mindset and route running.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite moment of my career was my second year of football on 6u. I was playing lineman the whole year, then in the championship game the coach let me run the ball and I scored on my first ever carry.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with is Landen Callis, he is just special and does things you’ve never seen before.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Believe in yourself, no matter what.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere, I would go to the Bahamas.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was about 4 or 5 when I fell in love with football.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would meet Ja’Marr Chase because he is my favorite wide receiver to model my game around.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan, was watching my high school win a state championship a couple years ago.
