In addition, Baker is listed as a top 10 recruit in the state of North Carolina and is listed as the #1 Quarterback in the state of North Carolina. He holds offers from schools such as NC State, Wake Forest, and UNC.

Who are some role models in your life?

I know the common answer is parents, however for me my parents are the reason I’m growing to be the person l’m going to be. They’re teaching me to stay true to my morals and goals in life and this is key for my success.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I love listening to affirmations and practicing my breathing techniques.

What are the strengths of your game?

I believe one of the strengths of my game is my pure love for the game. That is what makes me different. I love every aspect of the process to reach greatness.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory was scoring 42 points in a basketball game when I was 8. I love this memory because I was dominating in flow and focusing on winning and doing my part, not worrying about “outside noise”. That’s what I still strive to do today.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Keep God first. Seek understanding about Gods love and live in it, it’s a great feeling to live Rejoiceful! Be consistent! In all you do, be consistent this is how you will reach results the fastest! Also seek to be different, not everyone wants to be great like you do so strive to be different! I’m not saying don’t talk to anyone or be “to yourself”. I’m saying don’t worry about people name-calling you for relentlessly trying to reach your goals.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I haven’t been to Dubai yet, and I love trying new things.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I started playing sports at 3 years old. 10 years old was when I truly noticed how great I was and decided I wanted to make it to the league. My first encounter was when some kid wanted me to sign his towel when I was playing 10U.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet Kobe and learn more about his mentality, specifically what he believes the key to greatness is.
