The Fairbanks Star Cornerback: Jackson Stage

Jackson Stage is a 2024 recruit who plays Cornerback at Fairbanks High School. Stage is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Cornerbacks in the class as well. In addition, Stage is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Ohio and is listed among one of the top Cornerbacks in the state of Ohio. He currently holds an offer from Campbell.

Who are some role models in your life?

My main role models in my life have always been my grandpa and my step dad. I look up to Jaycee Horn as a player the most.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

The main artists I listen to are NBA YoungBoy and Tupac.

What are the strengths of your game?

My strengths would have to be man to man and being able to read an offense in any formation they line up in.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory would be my sophomore year when I got my first Interception. Or when I was blessed to receive my first D1 offer.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

I would say one of the best players I have competed against would be Ouinlan Netter.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Be consistent with your grind and acknowledge what you need to improve on.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere I think it would have to be Africa. I would love to see all the different animals in the wild.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I really fell in love with the game when I was about 11 or 12.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet Jason Sehorn. He’s a defensive back I have always studied.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was probably watching LSU recently win the National Championship.
