Who are some role models in your life?
Definitely my parents, seeing how they live their life for the Lord and lead our family so well. There are also too many athletes who have influenced me as an athlete, but at the end of the day sports will not last forever and I always try to live like Jesus.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Usually Lil Baby, but recently I have been listening to Caleb Gordon.
What are the strengths of your game?
I think my biggest strength as a long snapper is having what I say is the most clean and catchable ball for a punter. Along with being consistent, knowing I can give a punter or holder the same snap every time.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
So far, I have been able to play in a few fun games at East Coweta, but going to our rival Newnan my sophomore year and beating them at there place was just an electric atmosphere. I always look forward to that game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
In terms of talent, playing against Travis Hunter my sophomore year was the most talented, but I have also been able to play with a bunch of super good players with some more in my class that are all going to be huge playmakers in college and this year.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Just keep working at your craft with whatever it is. It isn’t always an easy time, but when you are good enough for long enough you will reach your goals whatever they are. At the end of the day, put your trust in God because if you follow him I know all things work out for his glory.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Rio de Janeiro. Never for a specific reason, but ever since I was growing up I have always wanted to go there.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I grew up playing every sport under the sun, and would say I fell in love with baseball and basketball earlier, but would say I truly fell in love with football and knew that is what I wanted to play around 4th or 5th grade.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sport hero, it would probably be Michael Jordan.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
As a sport fan, I was able to go to the Masters last year and it was an experience I will never forget. The highest stage of golf at one of the prettiest courses in the world was a super cool experience. We went to the practice round on Wednesday, and being just a few feet from Tiger as he skips it over 16 was super cool.
