Nate Severs is a 2024 recruit who plays Running Back at Big Walnut High School. Severs is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Severs is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Ohio and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Ohio. He currently holds an offer from Navy.
Who are some role models in your life?
My role models in life are definitely my parents. Since I was a child, I have been so blessed with learning how to be a better person.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I’m always listening to artists like Meek Mill and Tee Grizzley.
What are the strengths of your game?
The strengths of my game are definitely my patience and vision. I will wait for a hole to open or hit it a little outside, then get the defense to over-pursue and cut it up.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is most definitely my Massillon kickoff return. 1st play of the game I took it all the way, setting the tone.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve played with are definitely Garrett Stover and Jake Nier.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My best advice would be to stay patient, the recruiting process is a roller coaster with ups and downs. Lastly, don’t compare yourself to other recruits. Comparison is the thief of all joy.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, it would definitely be a place like Fiji with a nice beach.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game when I turned 4 playing flag football.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero it would definitely be Barry Sanders. I would love to learn from him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
I was young, but watching the Steelers win the Super Bowl with the Holmes catch.
