Lincoln Petitjean is a 2026 recruit who plays Long Snapper at New Canaan High School. Petitjean is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Long Snappers in the class as well. In addition, Petitjean is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Connecticut and is listed among one of the top Long Snappers in the state of Connecticut.

Who are some role models in your life?

Some role models in my life would be my snapping coach Bob Decker, my trainer Jamall, and my parents. They help me so much in life and are helping me to accomplish my goals. Another role model in my life would be my grandpa. He gives me great advice whenever I am going through rough times in life.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I am not a big music guy before games. I try not to overthink before I take the field. I just go out there and do my job.

What are the strengths of your game?

The strength of my game is the accuracy of my snaps. I always try to place the ball right at the hip for the punter to catch.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career was when my team won the state championship game and we all stormed the field. It felt good that all the hard work paid off and we won. My goal is to always be a team player, and do whatever I can to help my team win.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I have ever played with is Wide Receiver James Mclnerney. When you throw him the ball he will always make the play. He is an awesome player to watch on the field.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Never stop working! There is always someone out there who wants it more than you.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere in the world, I would go to any beach. I love going to the beach.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I was in 2nd grade when I fell in love with football. It’s my favorite sport and always will be to play and follow as a fan.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

It would have to be Tom Brady. I am a huge Patriots fan and have always loved him and it would truly be an honor to shake his hand one day.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite memory as a sports fan would have to be when the Patriots were losing 28 to 3 in Super Bowl 51 and eventually won. Another favorite sports moment I have is going to Gillette Stadium to watch the Patriots play with my dad. It’s always the highlight of my year.
