Millville’s Star Quarterback: Jacob Zamot

Jacob Zamot is a 2024 recruit who plays Quarterback at Millville High School. Zamot is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the class as well. In addition, Zamot is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of New Jersey.

Who are some role models in your life?

My big brother Josh and my dad are definitely the 2 biggest role models in my life. They always support me in everything and want the best for me.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Meek Mill and Lil Baby

What are the strengths of your game?

My leadership, accuracy, arm strength, ability to read the defense, and ability to extend plays.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Winning the state championship for sure, as well as my game winning drives vs Hammonton and Mainland.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Hands down my star Wide Receiver Lotzeir Brooks. Dude is a stud and we have great chemistry.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Work hard and never give up on your dreams, no matter what anybody says. Trust the process and keep grinding.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Bora Bora

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I started playing when I was 5, but I didn’t really fall in love with the game until around 8th grade, when I was 13. Once I fell in love with the game, all I wanted to do was be great and was willing to do whatever it took to get better.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet Joe Burrow. He’s someone I model my game after.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Watching the New York Jets win on Sundays.
