Khalil Witherspoon is a 3 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Pleasantville High School. Witherspoon is ranked among the top 900 recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among the top 120 Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Witherspoon is listed as a top 20 recruit in the state of New Jersey and is listed as the #4 Wide Receiver in the state of New Jersey. Who are some role models in your life?

My role model is my mom. She has been through so many hard times and she still finds a way to always push through it.

What are the strengths of your game?

One of the biggest strengths of my game is my IQ. I’ve been playing and watching the game since I was a kid.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My junior season

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Kwalil Shepperson and Dwayne Carter, they are both my teammates and push me very hard. Kwalil is a Linebacker and Dwayne is a Safety/Corner. They both have great technique and going against them everyday in practice is only making me better.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Some advice I would tell young kids is to keep working. You gotta just lock in and love and embrace the grind. Don’t take anything for granted.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?.

I would love to travel to Bora Bora.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I fell in love with the game at about 9.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would love to meet Calvin Johnson.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When the Seahawks beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl.
