Ryelan Morris is a 2026 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Honey Grove High School. Morris is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Morris is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Texas. He currently holds offers from SMU and North Texas.
Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role model in life is my cousin Zack because he has lived the exact life I aspire to live up to.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My favorite artists to listen to pregame are definitely Rod Wave, Lil Baby, and YoungBoy.
What are the strengths of your game?
Some strengths I see in my game are my elusiveness and speed.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory in my career so far is definitely going to Whiteright and being 20+ point underdogs and going into halftime up 20+ at their homecoming.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve ever played against definitely has to be Paxton Handcock from Centerville, Texas. He rushed for 158 yards per game, with 8.5 tackles a game, and had 29 touchdowns on the season.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Your results are a reflection of your work.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere, it would probably be to Fiji. I love how beautiful it is.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around 10 when I knew I was different from the others. That’s when I knew football was the way to go.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero it would be Kobe Bryant. As far as mentality goes, he is the greatest.
