Austin Stull is a 3 Star recruit who plays Safety at The Lawrenceville School. Stull is ranked among the top 700 recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked as a top 50 Safety in the class as well. In addition, Stull is listed as a top 20 recruit in the state of New Jersey and is listed as the #5 Safety in the state of New Jersey. Austin Stull is committed to play at Duke.
Who are some role models in your life?
The main role models in my life are my parents. In regards to sports, Jalen Ramsey and Deion Sanders are who I try to model my game after.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Recently before games I’ve been listening to Lil Baby, NBA Youngboy, Future, and Lucki. I’ll mix in some Red Hot Chili Peppers or Nirvana to calm down.
What are the strengths of your game?
I would say the strengths of my game are my speed, instincts, overall competitive edge, and just not wanting to lose.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career was taking back a kick return for a touchdown against Peddie. It was huge for me and my overall confidence.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I have played with and against a lot of great players, but if I had to choose one I’d go with Kaden Hamilton who plays DB at Bryant. He was every bit of a power 5 talent and really taught me how to play the game.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
For any kid out there who aspires to go Division 1 my advice to them is to believe in themselves. Grind every day to achieve your goal, and your character and how you are as a person matters just as much as your on field success.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere it would be Bora Bora.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing football in high school and I really found out I loved the game and wanted to take it seriously the summer going into sophomore year. The rest is history.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would be LeBron James. He is my favorite athlete of all time.
