Buford’s Star Freshman Running Back: Bryce Green

Bryce Green is a 2026 recruit who plays Running Back at Buford High School. Green is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Running Backs in the class as well. In addition, Green is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Running Backs in the state of Georgia.

Who are some role models in your life?

My parents are probably the biggest ones for me. Not only do they show me things to carry in life, but they also show why it matters so much. Even when I don’t like to hear it, it makes sense.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I’m a big music fan, pregame I listen to artists like NLE Choppa, Young Nudy, 2PAC, Nardo Wick, etc.

What are the strengths of your game?

I feel like my versatility sets me apart from a lot of other backs. My speed is a big factor because it puts me in situations in the run game and pass game. My toughness is also critical for me. People think that I’m just a scat back or speed back, but I will run the ball down your throat when I can.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is definitely FBU by far. It’s already pretty fun to play against some of the top guys in my class in Georgia alone. But it’s better when you play with those guys on a national level. The bond we have is very strong. So all 3 at FBU with GFL were full of memories.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

I’ve played with and against people like Julian Lewis, Tyler Atkinson, Deuce Geralds, Jude Cascone, Dylan McCoy, Bryce Perry-Wright.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?

Stay humble and compete. Never relax thinking that you are safe because there’s always somebody waiting to take your spot.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would probably travel to Los Angeles. It’s a place where you can chill and do fun things.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?

I started flag football at like 4 and put on pads at 5. At that age I was the one that was thinking about everything else but football. I quickly fell in love with it and took it from there.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would probably meet Tyreek Hill. He’s always having fun on and off the field. Not everything has to be serious. You have to enjoy life too.
