Jackson Grant was born in, Olympia, Washington and plays Center at Olympia High School. Jackson is ranked 38th on the ESPN Top 100 of 2021 and is listed Top 10 at his position. He is also a Top 5 recruit in the state of Washington. He has committed to play at Washington next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?

I really loved Lebron when I was younger then kind of transitioned to liking KDś game better because I could see things he did and add them to my game.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Our biggest rival in our league is Bellarmine Prep

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to a lot of Lil Baby and Dababy to get hyped up with some old Meek and Drake.

What is your offseason training like?

I lift four days a week and then get shots up e everyday as well as get some open gyms as much as possible.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory of my high school career was last year, getting fourth in the state. The whole experience of playing in the dome and competing for something that really mattered was awesome plus I was really close with all the guys on the team.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I hope my aggressive rebounding and shot blocking translate to the next level and I can continue to be a threat on three levels offensively.

What made Washington stand out from other schools?

Washington was the home school. My mom went there and I just loved the feel and all the coaches it just fit for me better than any other school.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the court during your time at Washington?

I hope to compete in the NCAA Tournament and win a National Championship and continue to develop my game, and make it to the league.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

One sports hero I would love to meet is Lebron. He has been doing what he has been doing for so long and other than the decision he has been pretty well liked by fans, so he knows how to handle the stresses of the league whole balancing family and the team.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was watching Olympia High growing up knowing I was going to play there and just getting excited for that and now to be going into my senior year looking back on that it is just great memories.
