My idol is Jalen Ramsey, Cornerback for the LA Rams. I really admire how he carries himself, the confidence and swag he walks with, and him also being a strong believer in Christ inspires me.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My go to artists are Lil Baby and NBA YoungBoy on gameday.
What are the strengths of your game?
I would say my strengths are probably my length, my long term speed, and also my vertical ability. I feel like I am one of the most athletic corners in the country, if not the most.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my high school career was probably the state regional game against Long Beach Poly last season where I had a late 4th quarter Int.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have played with is probably Qb Malik Murphy who is now at Texas and DB Rodrick Pleasant who I currently still play with. The best player I’ve played against I would say is Jason Robinson, Wide Receiver from Long Beach Poly.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to any D1 athlete is when times get tough think about all the hard work you’ve already put in and what you could be giving up on.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
My dream vacations are The UK, Bahamas, and Dubai
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I honestly just played it for fun until I actually made it to high school where I realized I wanted to do this for a living.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
LeBron James or Tom Brady
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan would have to be 2016 when my favorite NBA players Lebron James and Kyrie Irving won the NBA Finals against the Warriors.
