Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?
Kevin Durant really inspired me while he was in OKC.
What high school is your biggest rival?
Quavos old high school Berkmar was probably my biggest rival.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I listen to a lot of Polo G, Lil Baby, and Migos before the games.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason training is always 100 mph during drills and really focusing on the details and what I did poorly in the previous season.
What is your favorite memory of your high school career?
My favorite memory was definitely in Portland when I dunked on some kid really bad and made the whole gym erupt.
What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?
I hope my shooting is not altered because of how further back the three point line is but I should be fine, I have a lot of range.
What made Temple stand out from other schools?
Temple really kept it real with me, I connected with all the coaches and staff, and Mckie has a great demeanor about him and lets his players play and has a lot of NBA wisdom and connections. Temple needed shooting and I can really shoot the rock and do much more so it was the perfect fit. I would rather go to a perfect fit than a high high major school and have to worry about messing up and not being able to develop and play my game.
What do you want to accomplish on and off the court during your time at Temple?
I really want to win as much as possible for the Temple fans. The university is top 5 most winningest in all of NCAA Division 1 and has been in a slump so I want to come in and win conference and make a run for the tournament. You might as well shoot for the sky and give it your all and you never know. Winning conference and finishing top of the conference is a big goal of mine though. Off the court I definitely want to make everyone around me feel like they can always come to me for advice. I always try to respond to every fan or person that messages me cause I know as a kid I did the same thing and never got a response which sucked because you never know how important your words and wisdom is to the next kid that was in your shoes trying to be just like you.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
One sports hero I wish I could meet is definitely MJ. I would love to really pick his mind but Mckie will definitely do knowing he played against him and had a very good reputation in the league with philly and other teams.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan was probably watching Cam Reddish drop 40 at Nike Peach Jam just because I got to see it with my own eyes and see how good he really is and kind of compare myself to him as I watch him cause we both have that same body and kind of flow when playing.
