Bear McWhorter is a 2026 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Cass High School. McWhorter is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, McWhorter is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the state of Georgia.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
I would have to say Trent Williams and Bradley Bozeman have always been my favorite players to watch up front.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My go to is Dreams and Nightmares by Meek Mill.
What is your offseason training like?
This offseason I have gotten on a good schedule, lifting and speed 5 times a week, as well as position training 2-3 times a week
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Either my 10u State Championship in 2017 or my SI National Championship in 2020
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve blocked for and against a lot of great players like Julian Lewis, Tyler Atkinson, Deuce, and I would throw in my cousin Brodie in that mix.
What is your favorite food?
Fried Chicken for sure
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I’ve always believed in myself and had confidence playing, but my 12u year I had a game and I realized “they cannot stop me”.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would have to go with Brandon Burlsworth from Arkansas
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My top 2 would be the OBJ catch and Clowney’s hit in the Outback Bowl.
