The Hopkins Star Freshman Point Guard: Jayden Moore

Jayden Moore is a 2026 recruit who plays Point Guard at Hopkins High School. Moore is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Point Guards in the class as well. In addition, Moore is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Minnesota and is listed among one of the top Point Guards in the state of Minnesota. He currently holds an offer from West Virginia.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?

Growing up, I was inspired by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Any Youngboy song is a must before a game.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason has been crazy, working out everyday, 8 hours a day Monday-Saturday.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

So far my favorite memory was when I played both 2025 and 2026 in Vegas when I was 5th grade. I hit both games winners for 2025 and then I ran all the  way over to to my 2026 team and hit the 3 for the win.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was very excited and glad my hard work paid off.

What is your favorite food?

Cheesecake

When did you realize you were talented at basketball?

At one my mom and dad knew I would be a star by the way I would watch the games.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I would want to meet LeBron.

Being one of the first players to play on Kyrie’s AAU team
