David Jackson is a 2026 recruit who plays Defensive Tackle at Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School. Jackson is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the class as well. In addition, Jackson is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Maryland and is listed among one of the top Defensive Tackles in the class as well.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
When I was growing up, my dad put me on to many NFL players and I liked how physical and strong they were. From that point on I knew I wanted to play football .
What is your offseason training like?
I do conditioning, powerlifting, recovery, and flexibility, as well as making sure I’m eating the right protein and the right nutrients.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory was our semi final game against Westminster. It was pouring rain and we fought it out.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food has to be honey glazed salmon, it never misses.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
When I was playing 10u and I went for an open tryout and no one could tackle me and the coaches moved me up to play 11u instead of 10u.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to speak to Reggie White and get his take on how I can improve and become a force to be reckoned with like he was.
