The Marist School’s Star Freshman Tight End: Jude Cascone

Jude Cascone is a 2026 recruit who plays Tight End at The Marist School. Cascone is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Tight Ends in the class as well. In addition, Cascone is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Tight Ends in the state of Georgia.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I was inspired by Marshawn Lynch. He always made incredible plays and never let anyone stop him, which made me want to play and have the same mindset as him.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I usually listen to rap before games, Lul Baby, 21 Savage, Moneybagg Yo, and 42 Dugg.

What is your offseason training like?

During the offseason I usually work out and condition 4 times a week mimnimum. Along with additional training.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

After my 8th grade team travel team (GFL) won the National Championship my teammate and I gave our coach a gatorade bath, and the feeling of winning that game will stick with me forever.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with is my quarterback Julian Lewis. He’s got so much talent and is a great teammate as well.

What is your favorite food?

My mother makes a meat sauce and spaghetti that literally takes the entire day to cook.  It’s so good. It’s a family recipe that’s been passed down on my father’s side since the early 1900’s. 

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I realized it at a football camp called Top Gun in 2020. Going into 7th grade I didn’t know what I wanted to play but when I got named top performer in my position I realized that everything was possible.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I think that I would meet Cooper Kupp due to the fact that he became the best receiver in the NFL even though he was not highly recruited or looked at. He took advantage of every opportunity and made the best of everything.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

I was at the 2022 CFP National Championship and the pick by Kelee Ringo to seal it off was definitely one of the coolest experiences to watch as a fan.
