Cosby’s Star Freshman Linebacker: Landon Snyder

Landon Snyder is a 2026 recruit who plays Linebacker at Cosby High School. Snyder is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Snyder is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Virginia and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Virginia.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up I was inspired by James Harrison. I used to watch him play all the time.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I like to listen to Coming in the air tonight. I don’t know why, but it gets me pretty hyped.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training right now is usually lifting and stretching. I have a personal trainer I go to that works on my speed and agility.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory would have to be when I was playing a school named Monacan. The Qb threw the ball to someone, he bobbled it, then I picked it off. Someone was about to tackle me so I threw it back to my teammate and he got it and scored.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

I played with a guy named Bryce Yates. He is a Wide Receiver who is really good and has the stickiest hands ever.

What is your favorite food?

Believe it or not, my favorite food is fried pickles.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I realized I was talented when I first started playing tackle football in 4th grade.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Hands down, I would want to meet Ray Lewis. I loved watching him play back when he played. I would ask him some good questions about playing the Linebacker position.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan would have to be the Minneapolis Miracle. Even though I’m not a fan of the Vikings, that moment was great.
