John Harris is a 2026 recruit who plays Offensive Guard at The Hun School of Princeton. Harris is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Guards in the class as well. In addition, Harris is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Offensive Guards in the state of New Jersey.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up, players that inspired me were Quenton Nelson and Marshawn Lynch
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Dreams and Nightmares By Meek Mill
What is your offseason training like?
I lift 4 times a week and do conditioning 2 times a week. I will also do footwork drills at least twice a week.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
I would say the two best memories I’ve experienced within the game of football would be 1, the national championship in Florida where I really first played amazing competition, and practiced really hard to win the natty. 2. My game in Holmdel that I played. ll of my boys came out to support me and it was super loud from both student sections.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have played with would definitely be Jee Calhoun, a running back who’s going to Donovan Catholic next year. The best player I have played against would be CJ Slader, a Quarterback from Michigan.
How old were you when you started playing football?
When I first started playing football I was 4 years old.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food would definitely be either wings or steak.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized I was talented at football last year.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would say Quenton Nelson because I try my best to model my game after him and it would be a dream come true.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports memory as a fan would be when my dad and I went to the Super Bowl when I was 8 or 9. We watched the Seahawks play the Patriots, and even though the Patriots won the weekend was still amazing and I will never forget it.
