Steinert’s Star Kicker: Greg Casimir
Greg Casimir is a 2023 recruit who plays Kicker at Steinert High School. Casimir is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Kickers in the nation as well. In addition, Casimir is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Kickers in the state of New Jersey. He currently holds an offer from Ursinus.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up I was never really inspired by NFL players because I never got into football and stuff like that until this year. I really do idolize how Justin Tucker plays, since I’m also a kicker.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My go to hype song is 0 to 100 by Drake.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason persists on a lot of leg workouts and stretching including yoga. I need to do all this consistently to get my leg swing faster and to get more leg strength.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with is probably my holder Jahkai Stokes, who never failed to get the ball on the ground where it needed to be.
How old were you when you started playing football?
I was 16 when I started playing football.
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food has to shrimp alfredo.
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I had a really big leg playing soccer growing up and one day my coach told meIi should make the switch and be a football kicker. Turns out that was the perfect move for me and even got me my first offer.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Justin Tucker, just to see what it was like training all those years in college and to get where he is now

The Eagles winning the Super Bowl
