The Peddie School’s Star Quarterback: Frankie Farmer

Frankie Farmer is a 2023 recruit who plays Quarterback at The Peddie School. Farmer is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Quarterbacks in the nation as well. In addition, Farmer is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Quarterbacks in the state of New Jersey.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

I always looked up to Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck, I try to model my game after those two.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Enter Sandman by Metallica is a great one to listen too, another one is TNT by AC/DC. Any rock in general is great pregame.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training consists of lifting 4-5 times a week and throwing 2-3 times a week, watching film also, and a good diet is key.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

This past season we played The Hill School out of Pennsylvania and I threw a game clinching touchdown on a long third down, everyone went nuts and it felt amazing.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played with has to be my wide receiver 1 last season and this upcoming season, Charly Mullaly. His route running is insane and his ability to take advantage of DB’s is a skill most receivers don’t have.

How old were you when you started playing football?

I was ten years old when I started playing football, I started off as a lineman and leaned out as I grew up and played quarterback in middle school.

What is your favorite food?

Definitely grilled chicken

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I didn’t realize it until freshman year

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Aaron Rodgers, I just love the way he plays and would love to pick his brain.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Eli Manning’s Super Bowl saving throw when he got caught up in a bunch and escaped the pocket and threw it downfield to David Tyree and he made the famous helmet catch.
