One Of Bergen Catholic’s Star Cornerbacks: Josh Dalgetty

Josh Dalgetty is a 2024 recruit who plays Cornerback at Bergen Catholic High School. Dalgetty is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2024 and is ranked among one of the top Cornerbacks in the class as well. In addition, Dalgetty is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Cornerbacks in the state of New Jersey.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Faneto, Freestyle, and Crazy Story are definitely some of my favorites.

What is your offseason training like?

Eat way too much, lift, track season, and DB specific work

What is your favorite memory of your career?

Even though I’m a DB I’ll always remember my first touchdown on a screen pass in pee wee back when I was probably 9 or 10.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Audric Estime was a super talented RB I got to play against. Definitely a dominant runner.

How old were you when you first started playing football?

I was probably 9 or 10, I took a few years break from the sport, then started playing again in 7th grade.

What is your favorite food?

I love some good Pizza

When did you realize you were talented at football?

My 8th grade year I was all over the field, played both ways, and was a prominent player on my team. I think that year helped me realize I had some potential.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I’ve always thought it would be cool to meet Lebron.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Malcom Butlers interception at the goal line in the Super Bowl vs the Seahawks. As a Pats fan that has to be up there.
