One Of Princeton’s First Commits In The 2023 Class: Jack Comeau
Jack Comeau is a 2023 recruit who plays Tight End at Bergen Catholic High School. Comeau is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Tight Ends in the nation as well. In addition, Comeau is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Tight Ends in the state of New Jersey. Jack Comeau is committed to play at Princeton next fall.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
I was inspired by Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady growing up.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I usually listen to a lot of Rap music. Kodak Black and Meek Mill, and then some AC/DC and Metallica.
What is your offseason training like?
The offseason workouts have been going well. I go 4 days a week in the morning before school with the team, and then in the afternoon I workout again with a personal trainer. Lots of strength and explosive work.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory this season was definitely winning the state championship.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with or against is DJ Samuels. Luckily he’s my teammate so I don’t have to block him in game, only practice.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
I was shocked. It was early for an Ivy league to offer, but they still did. It was such a surreal moment and it made me realize that my hard work was finally paying off.
What is your favorite food?
Vodka chicken parm sandwich
When did you realize you were talented at football?
I realized early on how talented I was because I was much more coordinated than all the other kids. I also was the best player in the grade above.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Tom Brady
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
It was watching the Patriots beat the Falcons in the Super Bowl
