One Of The Hun School’s Top Offensive Linemen: Cole Morgan
Cole Morgan is a 2023 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at The Hun School of Princeton. Morgan is ranked among one of the top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the nation as well. In addition, Morgan is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is listed among one of the top Offensive Tackles in the state of New Jersey. His top offers are, Army, Kent State, and UPENN.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?
Growing up, my favorite NFL player was Marshawn Lynch. Not only was he a great player, but his energy was unmatched.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
My pregame music consists of a little bit of everything. Pop, rap, country, really anything that will get my adrenaline going.
What is your offseason training like?
In the offseason, I live in the weight room. My offseason training normally consists of a heavy lift and then field work later in the day. Everything I do in the offseason is to help my body preform on the field. I take hot yoga classes at my gym to help my flexibility as well.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
A core memory of my career was when we played Don Bosco my junior year and we were the underdog. They met us at the 50 yard line before the game and the game was an absolute dog fight ending in a green wave victory.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I have played with hundreds of excellent players in my career. I was up against a different power 5 player every week, but the person who I have learned the most from was my older brother. He ended up playing Tight End in college but I learned a lot of my technique and skill from him when he played Offensive Line.
What was your reaction to getting your first offer?
My first offer was from Coach Gennetti at Merrimack College. I called him to ask him where I stand on their board and when we jumped on the phone he told me they were offering me. I went down stairs and my parents were sitting in the family room. I told them as I was coming down the stairs with tears in my eyes and me and my dad cried in each others arms while hugging.
What is your favorite food?
A medium fillet mignon steak
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I am a big supporter of our country and troops, if I could meet one player I would choose Pat Tillman.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
When Seattle threw the pic in the end zone against Atlanta.
