Parkview’s Star Freshman Offensive Guard: Cortez Smith

Cortez Smith is a 2025 recruit who plays Offensive Guard at Parkview High School. Smith is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Offensive Guards in the class as well. In addition, Smith is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Offensive Guards in the state of Georgia. He currently holds an offer from Penn State.

I’m inspired by my dad.

What is your offseason training like?

I do a lot of strength and conditioning in the heat.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

So far celebrating my first offer to Penn State with my team is my best memory.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with is Khyair Spain.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was truly happy to get my first offer.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is chicken.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I first realized my talent at 7 years old.

Jordan Davis or Trent Williams

My favorite moment was when Georgia finally got a Natty.
