Miami Central’s Star Freshman Linebacker: Ezekiel Marcelin

Ezekiel Marcelin is a 2025 recruit who plays Linebacker at Miami Central High School. Marcelin is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the top Linebackers in the class as well. In addition, Marcelin is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the top Linebackers in the state of Florida. Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Growing up, I was inspired by Dalvin Cook and Ray Lewis. They inspired me so much that I used to watch them before every game when I was growing up.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Sometimes I listen to Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Rod Wave, and Future.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason training is very intense, I try my best to get bigger, faster, and stronger for the next season.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is winning my first high school state championship as a freshman.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Probably Amari Wallace because when I played against him he was hard to stop, but now we play together at Miami Central.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I was very excited, and I was even more excited because it was from my favorite college team when I was younger, FSU.

What is your favorite food?

Definitely Alfredo pasta.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Probably Micah Parsons

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment is probably when James Cook got drafted to the Buffalo Bills.
