Simpkins is ranked as the 180th best recruit in the nation and is ranked as a Top 10 Running Back in the nation as well. In addition, Simpkins is listed as a Top 40 recruit in the state of Florida and is listed as the #5 Running Back in the state of Florida. He recently released his Top 5 schools which include, Texas, Arkansas, UCF, Louisville, and Georgia Tech.
