Orange Grove’s Star Quarterback: Cutter Stewart

Cutter Stewart is a 2023 recruit who plays Quarterback at Orange Grove High School. Stewart is ranked among one of the Top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the Top Quarterbacks in the nation as well. In addition, Stewart is listed among one of the Top recruits in the state of Texas and is listed among one of the Top Quarterbacks in the state of Texas. He currently holds an offer from UPENN.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players? 

Yes, I was inspired and still am by Andrew Luck. The way he played and handled himself was unique.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to Mexican music, it calms the nerves.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason consists of a lot of throwing and lifting.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory in my career was definitely when we beat our rivals in the season opener.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played against is a Defensive Lineman from Edna Texas, by the name of Otis Santellana.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

I felt very relieved to get the opportunity to play football at the next level, and blessed to be able to play it at the Division 1 level.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food I’d say is Cajun seafood.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

 I realized I was good at football when I started my freshman year on Varsity.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

 I would want to meet Kurt Warner

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan would be when Alex Smith made his comeback to the NFL after the gruesome leg injury.
