Tri-County Academy’s Star Wideout: Kamp Shepherd

Kamp Shepherd is a 2023 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Tri-County Academy. Shepherd is ranked among one of the Top recruits in the nation and is ranked among one of the Top Wide Receivers in the nation as well. In addition, Shepherd is listed among one of the Top recruits in the state of Mississippi and is listed among one of the Top Wide Receivers in the state of Mississippi. He currently holds offers from, Faulkner, Coahoma, and Hinds.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players

 Absolutely, Jamal Adams was always my favorite NFL player.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Anything NBA Youngboy, Throw it up, Put on, and Lil Wayne

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason consists of working out in the morning as much as I can before school, and getting in some cone and ladder work.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory is definitely winning the state championship last year.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve ever played against is Brandon Buckhalter, who is an Ole Miss receiver now.

What was your reaction to getting your first offer?

Receiving my first offer was awesome. I was in class and had to walk out because I was so excited.

What is your favorite food?

My favorite food is probably Steak or Mexican food.

When did you realize you were talented at football?

 In elementary school

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet any of them it would definitely be Pat Tillman

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment as a fan was definitely when Auburn ran the field goal back to beat Bama in 2014.
