Oak Ridge’s Star Freshman Point Guard: Jalen Reece

Jalen Reece is a 2025 recruit who plays Point Guard at Oak Ridge High School. Reece is ranked among one of the Top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the Top Point Guards in the class as well. In addition, Reece is listed among one of the Top recruits in the state of Florida and is listed among one of the Top Point Guards in the state of Florida. He currently holds an offer from SMU.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?

I’m inspired by Chris Paul and Lebron James.

What school is your biggest rival?

Jones High School

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I listen to songs by Kodak Black, Youngboy, and Lil Uzi before the game to get me hyped.

What is your offseason training like?

Everyday is a grind in the offseason so that the next time people see me, I look better then when they saw me before.

What is your favorite memory of your career?

My favorite memory of my career so far is when we won Nationals.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

The best player I’ve played with is Jamier Jones, but everybody on my team is tough.

Chicken Tenders and Fries

When I was in 7th grade

Kobe Bryant

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was when I went to go watch Oak Ridge play in the state championship game, and they won.
