National Christian Academy’s Star Freshman: Sabree Scott
Sabree Scott is a 2025 recruit who plays Small Forward at National Christian Academy. Scott is ranked among one of the Top recruits in the class of 2025 and is ranked among one of the Top Small Forwards in the class as well. In addition, Scott is listed among one of the Top recruits in the state of Pennsylvania and is listed among one of the Top Small Forwards in the state of Pennsylvania. He currently holds an offer from St. Francis Brooklyn.
Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?
I’m from a small city called Chester, right outside of Philly, so I was always inspired by Allen Iverson.
What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Believe it or not, I actually listen to Mary J. Blige or Faneto by Chief Keef.
What is your offseason training like?
My offseason training is very intense because I have to get ready for EYBL.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
Last year I had the game winning shot in a double overtime game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
Best player I’ve played with is Daniel Skillings or Isaiah Coleman both 4 Stars.
What is your favorite food?
I don’t have one favorite food, but I like Seafood in general.
When did you realize you were talented at basketball?
So growing up, I was always taller than most of my competition and about 2-3 years ago I was playing in a rec league, and that game I just blocked out all the noise and I was just hooping and I had 34, but before that game I was averaging 16. That’s when I developed a “nobody can guard me” mindset.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Definitely Kobe Bryant, because I feel like he has a lot of wisdom and I could really learn from him and develop my game just by talking to him.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment was when Dame Lillard hit that game winner in Portland.
