The Star Tight End At The Hun School: Owen Anderson

Owen Anderson is a 2022 recruit who plays Tight End at The Hun School. Anderson is ranked among one of the Top recruits in the state of New Jersey and is ranked among one of the Top Tight End recruits in the state of New Jersey as well. He currently holds offers from, Michigan State, Liberty, and Monmouth.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

My favorite players growing up were Antonio Gates, Hakeem Nicks, and Eli Manning.

What high school is your biggest rival?

My biggest HS Rival is definitely The Peddie School.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

Lord Knows by Meek Mill always gets me hyped pregame.

What is your offseason training like?

Offseason training is pretty intense I’m always doing something everyday, it’s either lifting conditioning, routes or footwork.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

Favorite HS memory so far is beating Paramus Catholic this year.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?

Best player I’ve played with: Caedan Wallace and Josh Henderson and the Best I’ve played against is John Metchie or Audric Estime.

What is your favorite food?

Favorite Food: Chicken Parm

When did you realize you were talented at football?

I realized I was talented around 7th grade during Pop Warner.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I’d want to meet Eli Manning for sure

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

My favorite sports moment was when the Giants beat the Patriots in the super bowl (both times).
