Growing up in Utah, were you inspired by any hometown NFL Players?

When I was growing up, I used to go to camps with University of Utah players. Isaac Asiata was always there to coach and help me get better. He ended up being drafted by the Miami Dolphins, which is my dads favorite team.

What high school is your biggest rival?

Corner Canyon has had several over the last few years, in part because they went up on classification. My freshman year it was Alta. My Sophomore year it was Skyridge(we had lost to them in the playoffs the previous year-So that was important) and last year it was Lone Peak who we beat down by 10 in the last 2:18 of the game. It was EPIC! We have been really lucky to have gone 37 and 1.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you huped up?

I have a few songs I like to listen to before a game, love the rock genre and stuff like that.

What is one of your favorite memories from your high school career?

My favorite memory is probably winning our first state championship. The previous year losing in the semifinals was a feeling I never want to feel again. So winning was so sweet!

What is your offseason training like?

Offseason training usually means working with speed and agility coaches, my position coaches, and lifting. 6 AM comes early, so I am always trying to get enough sleep and maintain my weight.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

In high school I play both offense and defense, in college I will primarily be focused on offense. I am so excited to learn everything my Oregon coaches want to teach me.

What made Oregon stand out from other schools?

Programs all over the country preach family and I am sure they mean it, but Oregon lives and breathes family. The first time I came I met all the coaches wives, kids, mother-in-laws, and aunts. I was sitting in an important meeting with Coach Cristobal and Coach Mirabel and Coach Cristobal’s son came wandering in to see what his dad was doing. I watched as he reached over and hugged him and said, ḧave you met my son¨? And we continued the meeting. I knew right then. They really are family.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Oregon?

I want to win a national championship at Oregon. I totally believe we can! I want to get a degree and I want to go to the NFL! speak it, believe it, and work it into existence!

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Michael Jordan! His work ethic and competitiveness is something I inspire too.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

The Rose Bowl last year! Knowing I get to be a part of that team took that win to a whole new level. My parents took me, and I just wanted to put on pads and go help.
