Nate Summerville is a 2 Star recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Shawnee High School. Summerville is ranked as a Top 420 Wide Receiver in the nation and is ranked as a Top 65 recruit in the state of New Jersey. Nate Summerville is committed to play at Fordham next fall.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

 I was inspired by Calvin Johnson mostly and liked to style my play the way he used to.

What high school is your biggest rival?

My biggest rivalry school personally and throughout our town is Cherokee High School.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

It depends on what song I like that week I usually play a new song every week.

What is your offseason training like?

My offseason consist of getting in the Weight room and working on running routes with my QB.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My favorite memory would have to be the game against Saint Augustine my junior year, no one expected it and we came out on top in OT.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

I would hope to transition my catching skills in traffic to the college level.

What made Fordham stand out from other schools?

The coaching staff was very upfront with me and they all treated me very well. I’m also a fan of being in NYC and the great education I will receive.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Fordham?

On the field I want to win the patriot league and the championship in all. Off the field I would like to set myself up so after college I can continue to be successful.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet any sports hero it would be Nick Foles.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Personally my favorite sports moment as a fan is definitely Nick Foles coming in for Carson Wentz and willing the Eagles their first Super Bowl and defeating Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
