One Of The Best 2023 Quarterbacks In California: Paul Kessler

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

Yeah I’d say Tom Brady as a kid I was always looking up to him cause of how dominant he was.

What high school was your biggest rival?

 I’d say probably Westlake just because of how close they are to us.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

I’d say whatever is new that I like, but id say Drake if I had to pick one artist.

What is your offseason training like?

I workout in the gym twice a day and try to get a throwing/ladder workout also in. My goal is to do three football related activities a day.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

My last year in Pop Warner because of how close I was to all my teammates and coaches.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your high school career?

I don’t really have one person that stood out that I played against but there are a lot of guys on my team that make my job a lot easier.

What do you look for in choosing a college?

Most importantly the academics, coaches, and players. There’s a lot that will go into that process and also what my family thinks.

When did you start looking at colleges, and when did colleges start looking at you?

I started looking at colleges pretty recently, i always have had a few colleges that I’ve been a fan of but I now obviously view colleges differently then I did when I was a kid. Colleges started looking at me around late summer entering sophomore year.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

If I could meet one person I would want to meet Tom Brady because of all the knowledge he has about the game.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

As a fan I’d say the LSU Texas A&M game, I didn’t care for who won but it was one of the most exciting games that comes to mind.
