One Of The Top 2023 Quarterbacks In California: Carson Conklin

Carson Conklin is a Dual Threat Quarterback at Orange Lutheran High School. Conklin is ranked as the 7th best Dual Threat Quarterback in the class of 2023 and is ranked as the 17th best overall Quarterback in the class as well. He currently has offers to Arizona State and Kansas.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NFL Players?

One of the most impactful NFL players that I watched growing up was Aaron Rodgers because nobody has ever seen anything like that and inspired me to be different.

What high school is your biggest rival?

My biggest rival in high school is probably Mater Dei because they are the top dog.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

You can never go wrong with some Dababy, he always gets me excited.

What is your offseason training like?

Right now it is lifting weights and trying to improve my speed.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career, so far?

Week 2 against Centennial, throwing my first touchdown in a big game it’s undescribable.

Korey foreman was by far the best

What do you look for in choosing a college?

 Education is the most important because football is a small part of life and you have to have a back up plan.

When did you start looking at colleges, and when did colleges start looking at you?

 I started looking at colleges during my freshman season and they started looking at me around that time also.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

It would be Jackie Robinson

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

The best sports moment is probably when the Patriots came back in the Super Bowl against the Falcons.
