Coloradoś Next Star Shooting Guard: Luke O´Brien

Luke O´Brien is a freshman Shooting Guard at Colorado. O´Brien is looking to be a big addition to to Colorado on their way to a Pac 12 and National Title.

Growing up, were you inspired by any NBA Players?

Inspired by Steph Curry and Klay Thompson

What high school was your biggest rival?

Probably Rangeview, they gave me the toughest games.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

A Boogie or Lil Baby were mostly who I listened to.

What is your offseason training like?

Very tough, try to get up early in the morning to get in the gym and in the weight room. Wanna get 3-4 hours in every day. than later get a 3-5 mile run in.

What is your favorite memory of your high school career?

My 33 point game against Boulder High School to send us to the great 8.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope to transition to the college level?

My shooting ability and my sense for the game

What made Colorado stand out from other schools?

 Loved the coaches and i fit in well with my teammates, they also have great academics.

What do you want to accomplish on and off the court during your time at Colorado?

 Get as far as possible into The March Madness tourney every single year and win the Pac 12.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

Deshaun Watson, hands down

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

When Deshaun Watson hit Hunter Renfrow for a last second TD against Bama in the National Championship.
