Who are some role models in your life?
My biggest role models are my parents and the mentors who have helped guide me through this recruiting process. They push me to stay focused, work hard, and become a better person on and off the field.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
Honestly, I usually don’t listen to music before games. I like to block out all the noise so I can stay completely locked in and focused on what I have to do.
What are the strengths of your game?
I think one of my biggest strengths is getting off the ball fast and making plays. I also feel like I make good decisions when the moment comes and can be counted on in big situations.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memories are beating teams that everyone expected us to lose to. Proving people wrong and overcoming the odds makes those wins even more special.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I can’t really name just one player because I’ve competed against a lot of great offensive linemen in games and at elite camps. Every one of those matchups has helped me get better.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
I’m still working to reach that level myself, but I’d say be hungrier than everyone else. Don’t make excuses, hold yourself accountable, and keep working even when nobody is watching.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d choose Japan. I’ve always wanted to experience the culture, see the technology, and learn more about the way people live there. It seems like a place that’s completely different from anywhere else, and I’d love the opportunity to visit.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I’d say about a year ago. That’s when I really realized what football could do for me mentally and physically. Seeing all the hard work start to pay off made me fall in love with the game even more.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
Cristiano Ronaldo. His work ethic, discipline, and mindset are something I really respect.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
As a fan, my favorite sports moment was Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals. Watching the Cavaliers come back from a 3–1 deficit to win the championship was unforgettable.
