Kameron Barnes is a 2029 recruit who plays Wide Receiver at Gainesville High School. Barnes is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2029 and is ranked among one of the top Wide Receivers in the class as well. In addition, Barnes is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of Georgia and is listed among one of the top Wide Receivers in the state of Georgia. He holds offers from schools such as LSU, Penn State and Auburn.
Who are some role models in your life?
My parents and my coaches. They push me to work hard, stay disciplined, and never give up on my goals.
What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
I listen to artists like Lil Baby, NBA YoungBoy, Future, and G Herbo before games.
What are the strengths of your game?
My height, physicality, football IQ, and ability to make plays when my team needs me most.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory was making a big play that helped my team win and celebrating with my team.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best players I’ve played with are some of my teammates that I go against every day in practice. We have an elite DB room with players like Jailil Goley, Zac Ingram, and Jacorey Hunt.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay consistent, work hard every day, take care of your grades, and never stop believing in yourself. Success comes from what you do when nobody is watching.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’d love to travel to Dubai because of the culture, the scenery, and the experience.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I was around 5 years old when I fell in love with football.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I’d want to meet Deion Sanders because of his confidence, leadership, and the impact he’s had on football.
