One Of The Top Offensive Linemen In The Class Of 2029: Landon Ghea

Landon Ghea is a 2029 recruit who plays Offensive Tackle at Milton High School. Ghea who stands at 6’5″, 280 after only his freshman season is one of the most highly sought after recruits in America. After earning honors such as an invite to the prestigious Under Armour All American Game, as well as having been named a Freshman All American by both MaxPreps and Rivals, it is no surprise that schools such as Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State have already extended offers.

Who are some role models in your life?
Some of my role models in life would be my dad and my brother. They both show me how to be a better man and person. My brother shows me what it is like to be mature and play football at a high level.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
Pregame, I put on some Ty Myers or Wyatt Flores, but most times I don’t even listen to music. I like the peace before the game.

What are the strengths of your game?
Some strengths of my game are my football IQ, the level I understand the game at, the intensity I play the game with, and the mindset I have.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career would probably have to be our first game at Buford. Even though we lost, it was an experience I will always remember. Being able to play against some of the best players in the country and in Buford’s new 70-million-dollar stadium was special.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I don’t know if I can name the best player I have ever gone against, but my top three would definitely be David Jacobs, Dre Quinn, and Bryce Perry Wright.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Some advice I would give to someone trying to go D1 is to just focus on what you can control and stay in the moment.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
One place in the world I would travel to would have to be Italy. I have heard they have some of the best food in the world.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with the game at the age of 8 when I first started playing. For me, there was no better feeling than strapping on the pads.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, I would meet Trent Williams. I love the way he plays and the aggression he plays with.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan would probably have to be the Kick Six in the 2013 Iron Bowl.
