Both my mom and my dad have impacted me the most. They have taught me to be accountable, hardworking, and humble, which has led to my success.

I listen to Drake, Lil Baby, YoungBoy, and a few others.

What are the strengths of your game?
I would say one of my biggest strengths is my physicality.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory was running out of the tunnel for my first varsity start alongside my older brother.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I have played with is my brother, Braden Wilmes.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Give 100% effort in everything you do. It doesn’t matter if you have natural talent—work as hard as you can so you know you’ve earned every opportunity.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would want to travel to Greece. I’ve always been a fan of Greek mythology, and I think it would be incredible to see the ancient ruins.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football during my freshman year. Watching my brother go through the recruiting process made me enjoy the sport even more.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
I would want to meet Patrick Mahomes.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
Watching the Chiefs win the Super Bowl for the first time in 50 years.
