Get To Know OSU Commit: Blaine Green

Blaine Green was born in Allen, Texas, and plays Wide Receiver at Allen High School. He is ranked 268th on ESPN 300 Class of 2021. Green is a Top 50 recruit in Texas, and Top 50 at his position. He is commited to play at the Oklahoma State next fall. His older brother Seth currently is a Wide Receiver at Minnesota, and his twin brother Bryson who is a Wide Receiver, is also a 2021 recruit, who is commited to play at Oklahoma State.

Growing up in Texas, were you inspired by any hometown NFL Players like, Drew Brees, Adrian Peterson, and Emmanuel Sanders?

Not really any hometown players, I looked up to my big brother though, he is currently playing at the University of Minnesota, and will probably go to the league next year.

What high school is your biggest rival?

We do not have a specific rival but playing at Allen, we always have a target on our back.

What songs do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?

A lot of Key Glock, Gunna, Moneybag Yo, Dababy, and Lil Boosie.

What is your offseason training like?

Wide Receiver workouts, Strength Workouts, and Conditioning Workouts, almost every day.

What parts of your high school game, do you hope you can transition to the college level?

I hope to work on just always being a playmaker, just making the best out of every situation.

What made Oklahoma State stand out from other schools?

I picked Oklahoma State because, each time I visited it felt like home and the coaches made my brother and I feel like family. Especially the offensive coaching staff including Coach Dunn, because we got a chance to play for a very successful coach with a great track record at the Wide Receiver position. Making me feel like Oklahoma State, would be the best place for me to schowcase my talents and help me be successful not only at the college level but also someday at the NFL level.

What do you hope to accomplish on and off the field during your time at Oklahoma State?

Become a better football player, get a degree, and create a legacy at Oklahoma State.

What advice would you give to a young athlete aspiring to become a D1 Football Player?

Always find one way to get better each day, and never stop improving.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?

I do not know, but it would be pretty cool to meet receivers like, Mike Evans, DeAndre Hopkins, and Julio Jones.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?

Probably when Alabama beat Clemson in the National Championship, when Tua came on and brought them back.
