Who are some role models in your life?
Some role models in my life are my dad and my brother. I grew up around them, and they’ve experienced a lot and really paved the path for me. I’d also say my 7-on-7 coach, Houston Lillard. He’s taught me a ton about football, but also about being a man and how to carry myself. Another coach who’s helped me in that way is Rashaad Carter.

What artists do you listen to pregame to get you hyped up?
It depends on my vibe. Sometimes I’m in a really calm mood before games, and I’ll listen to Drake, Daniel Caesar, SZA, Brent Faiyaz, and Bryson Tiller. Other times I’m more hyped up, so I’ll listen to Babyfxce E, Lou Deezi, Lucki, and Playboi Carti.

What are the strengths of your game?
I’d say the biggest strengths of my game are my ability to get the ball in my hands and make a play, whether that’s turning a 5-yard hitch into a touchdown or finishing a fade route in the end zone. I’d also say my athleticism and my ability to go make a play on the ball.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory is scoring two touchdowns against Lakeridge when everyone thought we were going to lose, and we ended up winning.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
I’ve honestly played with so many good players. One that comes to mind is Nolan Keeney. I trained with Team Lillard, and getting to catch passes and watch him compete was a great experience.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Stay consistent. This is a sport that rewards the people who put the most time into it. Always look for ways to improve, ask questions, and be eager to learn and get better every day.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
My dream trip would be to Greece because it looks so beautiful. I’d also love to go to Japan with my friends because that would be an awesome experience.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football during my sophomore year of high school, when I was about 15 years old. Basketball used to be my favorite sport, but that changed over time. I’ve always loved competing and doing whatever it takes to win.

If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Odell Beckham Jr.. He was my idol growing up, and I always wanted to play like him.

What is your favorite sports moment as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan is either watching the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl, since they’ve always been my favorite team, or seeing Odell Beckham Jr.’s iconic one-handed catch.
