Keldrid Ben is a 4 Star recruit who plays Running Back at Montgomery High School. Ben is ranked as the 109th best recruit in the nation and is ranked as the #5 Running Back in the nation as well. In addition, Ben is listed as a top 20 recruit in the state of Texas and is listed as the #2 Running Back in the state of Texas. He is committed to play at Oklahoma.

Who are some role models in your life?
My mom, dad, and brother are definitely big-time role models for me because of their work ethic. They don’t complain about anything, they just get to it.

What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like to listen to NBA YoungBoy, Lil Baby, Z-Ro, and Fattmack.

What are the strengths of your game?
Some of my strengths are creating plays, doing my assignments, and trying my best to be in the right place when my number is called.

What is your favorite memory of your career?
My favorite memory of my career is probably scoring a game-winning touchdown in little league against South County Football League.

Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
The best player I’ve played with would be Reggie Williams. He’s a natural, the way he creates plays and beats defenders to the outside with speed is unbelievable.

What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
Start early, train hard, and really push your body to the fullest before you get to that level. You don’t want to wait too long to work on your game.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would travel to Paris because of the view and because it’s such a historic place.

How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I fell in love with football when I was three years old. Just seeing my brother play really gave me a love for the game.

What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
My favorite sports moment as a fan would be Saquon Barkley getting traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.
