Oakley Keegan is a 2027 recruit who plays Tight End at Liverpool High School. Keegan is ranked among one of the top recruits in the class of 2027 and is ranked among one of the top Tight Ends in the class as well. In addition, Keegan is listed among one of the top recruits in the state of New York and is listed among one of the top Tight Ends in the state of New York. He holds offers from schools such as Alabama, Syracuse and Rutgers.
Who are some role models in your life?
My role model is my dad because he has a strong work ethic and is always determined.
What artists do you listen to pregame, to get you hyped up?
I like to listen to Lil Baby and Kodak Black to get hyped during pregame.
What are the strengths of your game?
I would say my strengths are my physicality and competitiveness.
What is your favorite memory of your career?
I have a lot of great memories, but my favorite was last year when we were down by 7 with less than a minute left. Owen Brown, our running back, made a kickoff return touchdown, and then we went for two points to take the lead and win the playoff game.
Who is the best player you have ever played with or played against in your career?
There have been a lot of great athletes I’ve played with. Last year, we had an amazing squad with Isiah Morris, Braylon Ottis, Daxton Archer, Antonio Rivera, CJ Washington, Owen Brown, John Sindoni, Jayden Devereaux, and Alle Rivera—all great players and leaders.
What is some advice you would give to an aspiring D1 athlete?
My advice would be to stay consistent and never let anyone dictate who you want to be or what you want to accomplish. Also, stay faithful to God if you believe in Him.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I would love to travel to Madagascar because it’s unique and beautiful.
How old were you when you fell in love with the game?
I started playing football when I was 5 years old. I loved the game so much—I played flag football in the summer and tackle football in the fall all the way through high school.
If you could meet one sports hero, who would it be?
If I could meet one sports hero, it would be Tom Brady, “The GOAT,” because he has so much knowledge and experience.
What is your favorite sports moment, as a fan?
One of the best games I’ve been to was last year at Syracuse when they played Miami. They were the underdogs but came back from being down 21 points to win.
